Belarus’ official coronavirus death toll rises to 6,506

March 2, BPN. The total number of confirmed coronavirus infection cases in Belarus increased by 2,169 from 921,263 on Tuesday to 923,432 on Wednesday, with the death toll rising by 13 from 6,493 to 6,506, according to the country’s health ministry.

The ministry said that a total of 912,797 people had recovered from the coronavirus, and 1,639 people had been discharged from hospitals over the past 24 hours.

As many as 12,467,117 tests for the coronavirus had been carried out in the country by Tuesday, with 23,051 tests conducted in the past 24 hours.

As of March 1, as many as 5,669,000 people in Belarus had already received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and over 5,069,000 people had been fully vaccinated with two doses.
