US dollar exchange rate exceeds BYN 300,000,000 without taking into account denominations
March 7, BPN. The official US dollar exchange rate in Belarus is at an all-time high of BYN3.0995. Not taking into account the denominations of 1994, 2000, and 2016, it amounts to 309,950,000 rubles.
In terms of depreciation of the national currency to the US dollar (since 1991), Belarus remains a leader among the former Soviet republics, as evidenced by the BPN analysis of exchange rates on March 6.
The top five countries that ranked after Belarus include Uzbekistan – 10,900,250, Turkmenistan – 8,750,000, Georgia – 3,241,900, and Ukraine – 2,925,490.
They are followed by Tajikistan – 1,130,000, Kazakhstan – 246,140, Russia – 111,756, Armenia – 100,616, Azerbaijan – 85,000, Kyrgyzstan – 19,333, and Moldova – 18,332.
The Baltic states conclude the list: Lithuania – 315.93, Estonia – 143.17, Latvia – 128.61.
The dollar exchange rate in the self-proclaimed Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic (Transnistria), which has its own currency, is at 16,100,000,000 rubles without taking into account denominations.
