Belarusian army starts logistics drills

June 14, BPN. Belarusian armed forces will hold command staff exercises with military and logistical support units between June 14 and 16 to train military logistics skills, the press office of the defense ministry reported. 

On February 24, Russia started what it called a special military operation in Ukraine. Authorities in Minsk deny Belarusian army troops’ involvement in combat operations on the Russian side. However, Alaksandr Łukašenka admitted in the May 5 interview with AP that Russian troops entered Ukraine and launched missiles from Belarusian territory.

On March 15, during the Russian forces advance on Kyiv, Lukašenka announced that “our task, very important in any battle, not only in the war, is to prevent an attack from the back on the advancing troops. The Russian troops.”
