Łukašenka signs decree adjusting sales of potash fertilizers

June 15, BPN. Alaksandr Łukašenka has signed Decree No 203 “On Sales of Potash Fertilizers”, his press service reports.

The document extends the range of currencies that can be used to pay export customs duty on potash fertilizers.

“The decree provides for the possibility of paying it in Russian rubles, Chinese yuan, US dollars, and euros,” the press service said.

Łukašenka also gave the Council of Ministers the power to set the rate of export customs duty on potash fertilizers in 2022-2023.

Belarusian potash remains under heavy Western sanctions.
