KGB adds 14 to its terrorist list

June 17, BPN. The Committee for the State Security (KGB) has added 14 people to the list of those involved in “terrorist activities”.

Some of them – Arciom Kasakoŭski, Alaksandr Žmuro and Jahor Lankievič – have already been convicted on charges of mass riots or encitement of social enmity.

Others face the same or similar charges (act of terrorism, damage to transportation) as defendants.

They are: Alaksiej Zabiran, Alaksiej Bahdziej, Dźmitryj Ravič, Dzianis Dzikun, Aleh Małčanaŭ, Alaksiej Mandzik, Uładzimir Hiemza, Ihar Michajlenka, Andrej Žałkoŭski, Hienadź Siaŭruk, and Kirył Kaniuk.

The list already includes 80 Belarusians, with over two dozen entries made in the past 10 days.
