Rubel strengthens against euro

June 24, BPN. The value of the rubel increased against the euro at the June 24 trading session at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

The Belarusian currency rose from 2.6623 at the opening of the session to 2.6603.

It stood at 2.5315 against the U.S. dollar but fell against the Russian currency from 4.7265 per 100 rubles to 4.7307.

The Belarusian rubel weakened by 1.58% against the U.S. dollar in the first five months of 2022. It ranked sixth in terms of weakening in the former Soviet Union.

Moldova topped the ranking with 7.47%, followed by Ukraine with 7.25%, and the Baltic states with 5.72%.
