Rubel down against U.S. dollar, Russian ruble at BCSE
September 2, BPN. The Belarusian currency has weakened against the U.S. dollar to 2.5556 and against the Russian currency to 4.2337 for 100 rubles at the September 2 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).
At the same time, the rubel has strengthened against the euro to 2.5515, while the Chinese yuan remained at 3.6992 for 10 yuan.
This week (August 29 – September 2), the Belarusian currency rose by 0.28 percent against the Russian ruble and by 0.45 percent against the Chinese yuan. At the same time, it dropped by 0.15 percent against the U.S. dollar and by 0.33 percent against the euro.
The rubel strengthened by 0.34 percent against the U.S. dollar to 2.5567 between January and August 2022.
