KGB blacklists two over “terrorist activity”

September 26, BPN. The Committee for the State Security (KGB) has added two people to its register of individuals involved in terrorist activity.

It blacklisted Minsk residents Siarhiej Łabanok, 39, and Valeryj Ziza, 31, convicted for incitement to hatred, a charge often used to silence regime critics.

The KGB’s terrorism register has some 900 entries. Over 170 of those targeted hold Belarusian passports.
