Interior ministry reports new attacks on state flag across the country

November 4, BPN. Since mid-October, authorities have been recording incidents of state flag desecration across Belarus, the interior ministry reported.

It reported new incidents in Ivacevičy, Minsk, Drybin and Babrujsk.

All suspects face criminal charges.

The desecration of state symbols is punishable by a fine, correctional labor for a term of up to two years, and arrest, restricted freedom or prison terms of up to three years.
