State-run television channels ONT, STV get $0.5mn subsidy

November 5, BPN. The government has increased budget subsidies for two state-run television channels by 1,112,400 rubels (some $449,000) in 2022.

ONT and STV are the beneficiaries, according to Directive No 751 passed by the Council of Ministers on November 3 and published on the National Legal Internet Portal on November 5.

The government has reduced budget spending on servicing foreign debt by the same amount.
