Number of police-designated “extremist” groups reaches 105
December 2, BPN. The number of groups deemed by the Belarusian police as “extremist” has reached 105.
On December 2, the police said it blacklisted “the Chizhovka Sem Chizhey group of citizens united, among other things, via the Telegram messaging app.”
Eleven of the 105 “extremist” groups are independent media.
