December 5, BPN. Belarusian opposition leader Śviatłana Cichanoŭskaja has begun a visit to Sweden, her press office told BPN.
“Two tyrants, Łukašenka and Putin, are holding my country hostage today,” she told a rally in Stockholm on December 5. Only Ukraine’s victory over Russia would make Europe feel safe again and let Belarusians reclaim their own country, she said.
Cichanoŭskaja is planning to meet Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson, Foreign Minister Tobias Billström and other officials.
