Security forces conducting counterterrorism drills

December 7, BPN. Belarusian authorities are checking “the state system for responding to acts of terrorism” on December 7-8, the Minsk region’s police reported citing the Belarusian Security Council.

Military equipment and national security convoys may be moving along some public roads with temporary traffic limitations to be introduced for the general public. Security forces will also use “imitation weapons for training purposes,” it said.

The police apologized “for any possible inconveniences.”
