Transitional cabinet’s Telegram channel branded extremist

December 7, BPN. A court in Minsk blacklisted the opposition’s transitional cabinet’s Telegram channel as extremist content on December 1. A corresponding entry was added to the official list of extremist content on December 6.

The same court also blacklisted the Dvizheniye Bolshinstva (Majority Movement) Telegram channel, its chat and chat bot as well as the Belarusian Investigative Center’s YouTube channel.

A court in Viciebsk region also branded Viktar Łahadziuk’s personal page in the Odnoklassniki social network as extremist.

Belarusian opposition leader Sviatłana Cichanoŭskaja announced the formation of the transitional cabinet at a conference in Vilnius on August 9. Belarusian authorities have branded it an extremist group.
