Human Constanta dismisses presidential paper’s accusations as groundless
December 20, BPN. The Human Constanta advocacy group called groundless the accusations of “spy activity” made in the December 20 edition of Alaksandr Łukašenka’s administration’s SB. Belarus Segodnya.
The group said in a statement that since its foundation, it “has been carrying out exclusively peaceful activities in defense of human rights.”
The presidential newspaper’s article accused Human Constanta-affiliated activist Anastasija Łojka, held in detention since October 28, and others of “anti-Belarusian activity,” sending judges’ and law enforcers’ personal data abroad and consulting “criminals.”
The banned Human Constanta continues to focus on three areas: protection of foreign nationals and stateless persons, human rights education and digital freedom.
