Rubel dives seven percent against euro, dollar this week
December 22, BPN. The rubel continues to fall against other currencies at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).
On December 22, the Belarusian currency was trading at 2.9135 rubels against the euro, 2.737 against the dollar and 3.9118 against the yuan.
It rose to 3.7985 per 100 Russian rubles.
This week, the Belarusian rubel dived 7.23 percent against the European currency, 7.21 percent against the greenback and 6.93 percent against the Chinese currency.
Last week (December 12-16), it plunged by 4.81 percent against the euro, 3.33 percent against the dollar, and 3.08 percent against the yuan. It climbed 0.17 percent against the Russian currency though.
The Belarusian currency depreciated by 4.44 percent against the greenback from January to November.
