Information ministry unblocks Narodnaya Volya website

December 29, BPN. The Belarusian Ministry of Information has unblocked access to the Narodnaya Volya website, its editors say.

The site is under maintenance and would become operational on January 9. In the meantime, Narodnaya Volya posts on the Telegram messaging app.

Narodnaya Volya is an independent political newspaper, founded in 1995. Its web pages have not been updated since August because of the restricted access.

It has been delivered to subscribers in PDF files after the authorities banished it from printing plants both in Belarus and Russia in 2020.
