KYKY’s website, social media blacklisted as extremist

December 30, BPN. A court in Homiel has blacklisted KYKY’s website and social media, including its Patreon account, as extremist content, said the information ministry.

Authorities also blacklisted KYKY‘s logo, watermarks, and other visual content linked to it.

Earlier this month, Belarusian courts branded The Village, a Belarusian online magazine, and Carkva-gazeta.by, a Greek Catholic community’s website and social media, as extremist content.

On May 6, authorities declared KYKY‘s team an extremist group.

Since 2021, authorities branded a number of independent media outlets as extremist groups, including BelaPAN, Belsat TV, Radio Svaboda, Naša Niva, Chestnaya Gazeta, and Euroradio.
