January 4, BPN. Belarusian Defense Minister Viktar Chrenin and his Tajik counterpart Sherali Mirzo have approved a plan of cooperation between the two agencies for 2023, the defense ministry’s press office reported.
At their meeting in Minsk, the defense ministers also discussed security issues facing the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), it added.
The Russian-led security alliance CSTO includes Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Tajikistan.
