Heating bill to jump 13 percent

January 4, BPN. New utility rates came into force on January 1, the National Legal Internet Portal has reported.

Heating and hot water tariffs rose by 12.7 percent to 24.7187 rubels per gigacalorie.

Households with natural gas meters and gas heaters would pay 0.1993 rubels for every cubic meter of gas consumed, while households without gas heating will pay 0.5477 rubels.

A liquid gas cylinder weighing 21 kg now costs 1.05 rubels per one kg or 22.05 rubels per cylinder.

Homes and apartments with electric stoves are charged 0.209 rubels per one kWh, while other households pay 0.2459 rubels per one kWh.
