Rubel down against all major currencies at BCSE
February 1, BPN. The Belarusian currency has depreciated against all major currencies at the February 1 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).
It dropped against the US dollar to 2.678, against the euro to 2.905, against the Chinese yuan to 3.9687 per 10 yuan, and against the Russian currency to 3.8179 per 100 rubles.
Last week (January 23-27), the rubel fell 0.38 percent against the dollar, 0.68 percent against the euro, and 0.91 percent against the yuan. At the same time, it climbed 0.48 percent against the Russian ruble.
The Belarusian currency strengthened by 3.27 percent against the dollar in January.
