Rubel keeps falling against dollar, euro, yuan at BCSE

February 9, BPN. The Belarusian currency has depreciated against the US dollar to 2.7686 at the February 9 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

It also dropped against the euro to 2.9753 and against the Chinese yuan to 4.086 per 10 yuan but climbed against the Russian currency to 3.7991 per 100 rubles.

Last week (January 30 – February 3), the rubel fell 1.75 percent against the dollar, 1.99 percent against the euro, and 2.06 percent against the yuan. It climbed 0.17 percent against the Russian ruble.  

The Belarusian currency strengthened by 3.27 percent against the dollar in January following a 7.39 percent plunge against the greenback in 2022.
