Rubel up against major currencies at BCSE
March 31, BPN. The Belarusian currency has strengthened against the US dollar to 2.8538 at the March 31 trading session at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).
The rubel also climbed against the Chinese yuan to 4.1565 per 10 yuan and against the Russian currency to 3.7024 per 100 rubles. It remained at 3.109 against the euro as it has not traded against the European currency on March 29 and 30.
This week, (March 27 to 31), the rubel dropped by 0.39 percent against the dollar and by 0.26 percent against the yuan. It rose by 0.22 percent against the euro and by 0.77 percent against the Russian currency.
The rubel lost 2.62 percent of its value against the dollar in the first two months of 2023.
