Territorial troops assemble in Hrodna region

April 1, BPN. Territorial defense management bodies and units hold an assembly in the Navahrudak and Kareličy districts, Hrodna region, the Ministry of Defense reports.

“The assembly’s goals: to increase territorial troops’ combat and mobilization readiness; to test the feasibility and pace of planned mobilization activities; to train district executive committee officials and the military enlistment office to form territorial troops and prepare them for their intended tasks; to work out the use of territorial troops with the Armed Forces’ military units,” it said in a press release.

The scheduled event will last until April 21, the ministry specified.
