Companies from Russia, China only foreign participants at TIBO 2023 exhibition in Minsk
April 14, BPN. Russia and China appear to be the only two countries, apart from Belarus, to be represented at TIBO 2023 international exhibition of telecommunication technologies scheduled to open in Minsk on April 18.
Rusatom Bel, a Russian subsidiary, as well as companies from Moscow, St. Petersburg, the Nizhny Novgorod and Kursk provinces are expected to take part, said Pavieł Tkač, first deputy minister of communications, has told journalists.
Other participants include the Great Stone Belarusian-Chinese Industrial Park and the Russian Ministry of Digital Development, he added.
A total of 263 public and private companies will take part in TIBO 2023, with the Great Stone Park participating for the first time, Tkač noted.
In 2022, despite international sanctions over Belarus’ role in Russia’s war against Ukraine, TIBO featured companies from South Korea, and Switzerland.
