May 8, BPN. Alaksandr Łukašenka has arrived in Moscow, a Telegram channel affiliated with the Belarusian ruler reports, without specifying the program of the “working visit.”
He is expected to watch the Victory Day parade in Red Square tomorrow with several other Eurasian leaders, such as Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. The parade follows last week’s mysterious drone strike on the Kremlin.
Also on May 9, Belarus would organize its own festivities to mark victory over Nazi Germany.
May 9 is one of the most significant secular holidays in Belarus and Russia.
