Belstat reports slight drop in GDP in January-April

May 18, BPN. Belarus’ economic decline slowed down to 0.6 percent year on year from January to April, the National Statistics Committee (Belstat) said.

Belarus’ GDP fell by 4.7 percent in 2022.

On May 17, Prime Minister Raman Hałoŭcanka told the government that the economy showed a “sustainable positive trend.” The government slated a 3.8-percent economic growth for 2023.
