Rubel up against US dollar at BCSE

May 19, BPN. The rubel has strengthened against the US dollar to 2.9259 at the May 19 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

It fell to 3.6667 per 100 Russian rubles and remained at 4.1656 per 10 Chinese yuan. 

The rubel has not traded against the euro and remains at 3.2 against the European currency. 

This week (May 15-19), the rubel fell 1.22 percent versus the greenback, 2.89 percent against the euro and 0.42 percent against the yuan. It gained 0.02 percent against the Russian currency. 
 
The Belarusian currency lost 6.91 percent of its value against the dollar in the first four months of 2023.
