Rubel down against yuan, US dollar, Russian ruble at BCSE

June 1, BPN. The Belarusian rubel has depreciated against the US dollar to 2.925 at the June 1 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

It also fell against the Chinese yuan to 4.1399 per 10 yuan and against the Russian currency to 3.6414 per 100 rubles. 

The rubel has not traded against the European currency and remained at 3.145 against the euro.

Last week (May 22-26), the rubel strengthened against all major currencies at BCSE, gaining 0.25 percent against the dollar, 1.56 percent against the euro, 0.56 percent against the yuan, and 0.12 percent against the Russian currency.

The Belarusian currency lost 6.8 percent of its value against the dollar in the first five months.
