Rubel up against US dollar at BCSE

June 2, BPN. The Belarusian rubel has strengthened against the US dollar to 2.9206 at the June 2 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

The rubel fell against the Chinese yuan to 4.1533 per 10 yuan and against the Russian currency to 3.6426 per 100 rubles. 

The rubel has not traded against the European currency and remained at 3.145 against the euro.

This week (May 29 – June 2), the rubel gained 0.16 percent against the euro and 0.54 percent against the Russian currency but fell 0.26 percent against the yuan and 0.07 percent against the dollar. 

The Belarusian currency lost 6.8 percent of its value against the dollar in the first five months.
