BelGee boosts car production and sales

July 3, BPN. BelGee, a Belarusian-Chinese car maker, has reported significant growth in production and sales in 2022 and 2023.

The company sold 4,300 cars in Belarus in 2022 and 5,700 in the first five months of 2023, according to CEO Hienadź Śvidzierski.

The plant operates 12 hours a day without days off and plans to hire more workers to meet the demand.

Śvidzierski said the company faces some logistic challenges in delivering cars to other markets and aims to produce a car under its own brand with more localized components.
