Rubel up against dollar, yuan

July 11, BPN. The rubel has risen against the US and Chinese currencies at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.

It hit 3.0291 per dollar and 4.2012 per 10 yuan but fell to 3.3392 per 100 Russian rubles.

There was no trading in euros, with EUR/BYN standing at 3.3231.

Last week (July 4-7), the rubel dropped 0.73 percent against the dollar, 1.2 percent against the euro and 1.3 percent against the yuan. It jumped 3.12 percent against the Russian currency.

The Belarusian currency lost 10.88 percent of its value against the dollar in the first six months.
