Kremlin’s spokesman: Łukašenka, Putin didn’t plan to discuss any agreements at recent meeting

July 25, BPN. Alaksandar Łukašenka and Vladimir Putin normally meet to “synchronize their positions” since their relations are very close and regular, Kremlin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov has told journalists, noting that no agreements were planned for their recent meeting.

Both leaders outlined “the main topics on the agenda” to the media as they met in St. Petersburg on July 23, discussing Wagner Group, trade, economy, the Union State and external threats, TASS quoted him as saying.

Łukašenka used his meeting with the Russian ruler to threaten Poland. He also promised to provide “help and support” to the population of Western Ukraine should Poland decide to “dismember” the country.

On July 24, the two leaders visited Orthodox churches, their press offices reported. Łukašenka wrapped up his visit on July 25.
