Rubel appreciates slightly against US dollar

July 27, BPN. The Belarusian rubel has appreciated slightly against the US dollar at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

It climbed to 3.0057 per dollar, but slid to 4.2104 per 10 yuan and 3.3431 per 100 Russian rubles.

There was no trading in euros today, with EUR/BYN at 3.3341.

Last week (July 17-21), the rubel fell 0.31 percent against the dollar but gained 0.3 percent against the yuan and 0.24 percent against the Russian currency.

The Belarusian currency lost 10.88 percent of its value against the dollar in the first six months.
