Tinder has left Belarus

February 15, Pozirk. The online dating app Tinder has stopped working in Belarus, the US owner Match Group said in a statement.
This afternoon, users in the country could not download the app from App Store and Google Play, Pozirk confirmed.
“You will not be able to use Tinder services or log into your account in Belarus from February 15,” Match Group said in the statement.
A month ago, Tinder users were warned that the app was leaving the country. Match Group did not elaborate on the reasons.
In June 2023, Tinder suspended operations in Russia, citing human rights concerns and the Kremlin’s war against Ukraine.
At least 150 companies, brands and online services have pulled out of Belarus after it helped Russia invade Ukraine. They include McDonald’s, Airbnb, Western Union, and other big names.
