Biełstat reports deficit in goods trade in January

March 5, Pozirk. Belarus’ foreign trade in goods rose 1.1 percent year on year to $6.36 billion in January, the National Statistics Committee (Biełstat) reported.

Exports increased by 2.4 percent to $3.97 billion, while imports fell 0.03 percent to $3.26 billion. The deficit amounted to $166 million.

In 2023, the deficit in goods trade amounted to $3.88 million.
