Łukašenka offers condolences to Putin over attack on concert hall
March 23, Pozirk. Alaksandar Łukašenka has offered his condolences to Vladimir Putin after gunmen attacked the Crocus City Hall near Moscow.
He condemned the attack as a “terrible act of terror” and a “brutal murder of totally innocent people, which cannot be justified,” according to a semi-official Telegram channel.
Gunmen in camouflage opened fire at a concert in the evening of March 22. There were at least two explosions, Russian media reported.
According to preliminary information, 40 people were killed and more than 100 wounded, the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) said.
Łukašenka’s embassy in Moscow is clarifying whether any Belarusians were killed.
