KGB holding counterterrorism drill in Mahiloŭ

October 25, Pozirk. The Committee for State Security (KGB) will hold a drill to test state agencies’ response to mockup acts of terrorism in Mahiloŭ on October 25-26, its press office reports.

The KGB units will participate in the drill along with officials from the Investigative Committee, State Border Committee and defense, emergencies and interior ministries. The drill will focus on using military equipment, setting up roadblocks, handling simulated ammunition and other special devices. Temporary traffic limitations on public roads may be in force during the drill, the press release noted.
