Rubel down against US dollar, Russian currency at BCSE

May 17, Pozirk. The rubel has depreciated to 3.2166 against the US dollar at the May 17 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

It also fell to 3.5071 per 100 Russian rubles but climbed to 3.485 per euro and 4.4157 per 10 Chinese yuan.

Last week (May 6–10), the rubel fell 0.2 percent against the dollar and 0.67 percent against the euro, remaining stable against the yuan and rising 0.03 percent against the Russian ruble.

The Belarusian currency lost 2.41 percent of its value against the dollar in the first four months of 2024.
