Equatorial Guinea’s defense minister visiting Minsk
May 22, Pozirk. Equatorial Guinea’s Defense Minister Victoriano Bibang Nsue Okomo has arrived in Minsk with an official visit, Valeryj Ravienka of the Belarusian defense ministry said on X without disclosing further details.
Belarusian military officials reportedly met with Okomo during their visit to Equatorial Guinea in early March to discuss areas of cooperation and planned high-level events.
In January, Belarusian officials discussed closer ties with Equatorial Guinea’s Deputy Defense Minister Cándido Ncogo Engono Nchama.
The meeting took place a few months after Alaksandar Łukašenka and Equatorial Guinea’s President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo had signed a road map on cooperation between the two countries.
