May 30, Pozirk. Alaksandar Łukašenka will travel to Mongolia on June 1 with a three-day state visit, his press office reports.
He is expected to hold talks with Mongolian President Ukhnaagiin Khürelsükh, focusing on expanding ties in trade and economy, Belarusian food and goods exports and agricultural cooperation, it noted.
The Belarusian ruler’s first visit to Mongolia will coincide with a Mongolian-Belarusian business forum in Ulaanbaatar.
Two-way trade amounted to $43.6 million in 2021 and consisted mostly of Belarusian exports, according to the Belarusian embassy in Mongolia. The embassy has not disclosed more recent data.
