Belarus, Mongolia to recognize each other’s education certificates

June 4, Pozirk. Belarus and Mongolia have signed an intergovernmental agreement on the mutual recognition of education certificates and a roadmap on cooperation between the education ministries for 2024–2026.
Belarusian education officials are in Ulaanbaatar as part of a delegation accompanying Alaksandar Łukašenka who is on a state visit in Mongolia from June 1 to 4.
The Belarusian education ministry reported that Belarusian and Mongolian universities cooperate directly under 12 inter-university agreements.
It added that for several years, Mongolian nationals have been receiving grants for training in professions in demand in the national economy.
Thirty-three Mongolians receive higher and vocational education at the expense of these grants.
Belarusian officials suggested that Belarusian lecturers can be deployed in Mongolia to train local engineers, architects, builders, farmers and forest managers.
Belarus can also offer internship programs for Mongolian students and teachers.
Yesterday Łukašenka and Mongolian President Ukhnaagiin Khürelsükh signed a friendship and cooperation agreement.
