Rubel up 1 percent against US dollar at BCSE

August 5, Pozirk. The rubel has strengthened to 3.0916 against the US dollar at the August 5 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

However, it fell to 3.385 per euro, 4.3081 per 10 Chinese yuan and 3.6099 per 100 Russian rubles.

Last week (July 29 – August 2), the rubel fell by 0.27 percent against the dollar, 0.44 percent against the euro and 0.04 percent against the Russian currency. It gained 0.02 percent of its value against the yuan.

The Belarusian currency strengthened 1.34 percent against the dollar in the first seven months of 2024.
