Rubel slips against US dollar

October 23, Pozirk. The rubel has slipped by 0.14 percent against the US dollar at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.
USD/BYN hit 3.2979 in today’s trading. However, the rubel climbed to 3.5676 per euro, 4.6433 per 10 yuan and 3.425 per 100 Russian rubles.
Last week (October 14–18), the rubel lost 0.35 percent against the greenback but gained 0.39 percent against the EU currency, 0.68 percent against the Chinese currency and 0.41 percent against the Russian currency.
The Belarusian currency lost 1.06 percent against the dollar in the first nine months of 2024.
