Strong winds hit Belarus
November 2, Pozirk. Strong wind gusts up to 86 km/h caused significant damage across Belarus, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.
More than ten cars were damaged by fallen trees in Brest, Viciebsk and Mahiloŭ regions, while power supply was disrupted in the Mahiloŭ region’s 17 towns and three farms.
No casualties were reported.
Several months ago, severe thunderstorms caused seven deaths, leaving hundreds of towns without water and electricity and toppling thousands of trees.
