Rubel rises against key currencies at BCSE on January 16

January 16, Pozirk. The rubel has strengthened to 3.4718 against the US dollar at the January 16 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.
The Belarusian currency also climbed to 3.5882 per euro, 4.7352 per 10 Chinese yuan and 3.3825 per 100 Russian rubles.
Last week (January 6 – 11), the rubel rose 0.68 percent against the dollar, 0.32 percent against the euro and 2.9 percent against the yuan but fell 1.47 percent against the Russian ruble.
The Belarusian currency lost 9.32 percent of its value against the dollar last year.
