Rubel rises against US dollar at BCSE on January 30

January 30, Pozirk. The rubel has strengthened to 3.4134 against the US dollar at the January 30 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.

The Belarusian currency climbed to 3.5561 per euro and 3.4374 per 100 Russian rubles but fell to 4.6745 per 10 Chinese yuan.

Last week (January 20 – 24), the rubel rose 1.74 percent against the dollar, 1.69 percent against the yuan and 0.62 percent against the euro but fell 1.69 percent against the Russian ruble.

The Belarusian currency lost 9.32 percent of its value against the dollar last year.
