Belarus’ oldest Catholic priest dies at 80
February 8, Pozirk. Belarus’ oldest Roman Catholic priest, Kazimir Vialikasielec, died at Hrodna’s cardiology center at the age of 80, the church reported.
Vialikasielec, born in 1945, served in Iškladź, Baranavičy and Homiel, where he founded a new parish, headed the Pinsk Eparchy and served as apostolic administrator of the Minsk-Mahiloŭ Eparchy.
