Rubel strengthens against key currencies at week’s last trading

May 15, Pozirk. The rubel has strengthened to 2.7535 against the US dollar at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

The Belarusian currency also climbed to 3.1972 per euro, 4.1008 per 10 yuan and 3.815 per 100 Russian rubles.

In the outgoing week (May 11 – 15), the rubel rose by 2.59 percent against the US dollar, 0.91 percent against the yuan and 2.76 percent against the euro but dropped by 1.09 percent against the Russian ruble.

The Belarusian currency gained 2.75 percent against the dollar in the first four months of 2026.
