Rubel up against US dollar, yuan at BCSE on May 18

May 18, Pozirk. The rubel has strengthened to 2.7443 against the US dollar at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

The Belarusian currency also climbed to 4.0679 per 10 yuan but dropped to 3.2 per euro and 3.8221 per 100 Russian rubles.

Last week (May 11 – 15), the rubel rose by 2.59 percent against the US dollar, 0.91 percent against the yuan and 2.76 percent against the euro but dropped by 1.09 percent against the Russian ruble.

The Belarusian currency gained 2.75 percent against the dollar in the first four months of 2026.
